Welcome to the College of Arts ities at The University of Glasgow, one of Scotland's leading institutions for learning and research. Our community consists of over 300 researchers and students who are committed to exploring diverse fields within arts and ities.
Our flagship program, the Games and Gaming Lab, is a collaborative hub that focuses on interdisciplinary studies encompassing games from tabletop to digital formats across various age groups and historical periods ranging from antiquity to the futuristic. The lab fosters connections among scholars, industry professionals, and enthusiasts worldwide, promoting cross-disciplinary research.
Timothy Peacock serves as our Director, with co-directors including Dimitra Fimi, Jane Draycott, Mark Wong, and Matthew Barr, who together represent a comprehensive scope of expertise in history, English literature, computing science, and classics respectively. Their research interests are multifaceted, touching on nuclear studies, spaceflight, and more.
